From Volkswagen to Ford, Peugeot to Renault, one supplier name links eight of Europe’s top ten selling cars of 2011. All of these popular vehicles feature original equipment made by leading automotive parts provider Purflux Group, which specialises in developing and manufacturing advanced engine systems and suspension components for both OE and the aftermarket.
The Purflux parts installed in these top-selling vehicles include stabiliser bars and coil springs in Europe’s favorite car the Volkswagen Golf VI; the oil filtration system and coil springs in the third most popular model the Ford Fiesta VI; and the oil and air filtration systems, stabiliser bars, intake manifold and engine water pump in the fourth best-seller, the Opel Corsa D.
All of the Purflux OEM filter products fitted to the eight cars are already available to the independent aftermarket through Purflux’s aftermarket brands Purflux, FRAM®, CoopersFiaam and Tecnocar (in Italy).
Andrea Taschini, General Manager of Purflux Aftermarket Division confirms, “We are very proud that Purflux’s pioneering technologies are being selected as original equipment for the best-selling cars in Europe. These are cars that are sold to millions of drivers, and that must deliver tens of thousands of kilometers of trouble-free driving each year, so there is no room for error. This is a real testament to the outstanding quality, reliability and environmental credentials of Purflux’s filter and suspension products.”
Purflux’s success as a major original equipment supplier is linked to the advanced design and materials of its products. By dedicating a significant amount of its turnover to research and development (R&D), the company is at the forefront of automotive parts and systems technologies. In order to enhance driving comfort and safety as well as protect the environment, Purflux’s key R&D aims are to reduce the amount of raw materials used, reduce vehicle noise, curb energy consumption and reduce CO2 emissions.
